Dec 14 2011 --- Enzymotec patent for Omega-Sterols (No. AU-0552025002) was granted by the Australian patent office.

Omega-sterols is a unique ingredient manufactured by Enzymotec Ltd. This ingredient is composed of naturally occurring hybrids of phytosterol and omega 3. Omega-sterols were clinically proven to be effective for blood lipid control, and efficient in supporting healthy levels of both blood triglycerides and LDL-cholesterol (bad cholesterol) in humans.
