ABF Ingredients (ABFI) is a division of Associated British Foods, comprising of a range of ingredient companies operating under their own identities and business models.

The business today supplies ingredients in a wide range of food and beverage applications including some speciality areas in pharmaceuticals and personal care sectors.

ABFI is an area of high growth potential and is the focus of expanding work on high added value ingredients. Our aim is to continue to build this business, through innovation, product development and acquisition.

- AB Enzymes are one of the world’s oldest Enzyme companies.  AB Enzymes develops, produces and markets enzymes for food, animal feed, textile and pulp and paper applications and is a world leader in this field.

- ABITEC Corporation in the US, which produce emulsifiers and specialty chemicals for the food, pharmaceutical and personal care markets.

- Ohly GmbH and Ohly Americas offer a wide range of products such as yeast extracts, inactive dry yeast, special vitamin yeast, yeast cell wall deriviatives, medical yeast and autolysed yeast based on bakers and/or Torula yeast, as well as wine yeast, speciality powders and starter cultures.  Ohly have locations within the Australia, China, Germany and US.

- PGP International is a leading supplier of grain based extruded ingredients and has benefited from the growth in sales of nutritional bars in the US.  PGP International is also a major player in the US providing whey protein isolates, whey crisp.
